SEVEN NIGHTS, PHUKET – MERGUI – PHUKET
Off limits to visitors until as recently as 1997, the beautiful islands of Myanmar’s Mergui archipelago is one of the world’s last remaining untouched paradise
With over 800 idyllic islands to choose from, the Mergui Archipelago in southernmost Myanmar has something to offer guests of all ages. Tropical rainforests for exploration and bird watching, white sand beaches for sunbathing and picnic lunches, extensive coral reefs for snorkeling and diving.
Swim with turtles and manta rays, look out for monkeys, wild boars and deer on the larger islands, or simply relax and soak up the natural beauty of these untouched islands.
Much of this remote archipelago remains unexplored by anyone apart from the nomadic Moken, the local sea gypsies who can be seen going about their daily lives as they have done for generations.
DAY 1: PHUKET, THAILAND
Arrive at Phuket International airport in Thailand where after a 20-minute transfer by a private vehicle you will be taken by tender to board Lamima.
